Che cosa scatenò la feroce caccia alle streghe che imperversò nell’isolato borgo di montagna? Fu una terribile carestia a mettere in ginocchio il paese o la manovra speculativa di alcuni proprietari terrieri? Quali antichi culti pagani sopravvivevano ancora nella Triora del tempo?
E’ con queste premesse che Ippolito Edmondo Ferrario, studioso di folklore ligure, analizza i drammatici fatti che videro coinvolta l’antica podesteria genovese nel sedicesimo secolo.
